Splendor in the Garden 2023

The San Antonio Botanical Garden is a magical place that draws us closer to nature, ignites our imaginations, and creates special memories in its 38-acres that buzz with life, diversity and beauty. We welcome you to be a part of the Garden’s story at the 16th Annual Splendor in the Garden Gala on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Please join us in celebration of the Garden’s history and help write the future of its impact on the community.

 Your support of Splendor in the Garden through table sponsorship or underwriting directly enables the Garden’s expansion of educational programming. Last year, gala contributions helped the Garden provide over 800 programs to visitors, welcome more than 17,000 students through school field trips, and share the mission of enriching lives through plants and nature with hundreds of thousands in our community and beyond.

This year, Splendor in the Garden guests will mingle with the giant living sculptures of fairytale characters that make up the Garden’s Imaginary Worlds: Once Upon a Time exhibition. The preface — cocktails with a colossal dragon in the iconic Lucile Halsell Conservatory, is followed by a seated gourmet dinner surrounded by twinkling stars and the lush canopy of oak and cypress trees on Greehey Lawn. A festive after-party and dancing in The Betty Kelso Center is the evening’s final chapter. Sponsors committed to $10,000 or more will enjoy luxury upgrades and concierge service for the entirety of the evening.
