Wednesday April 12

9:30 AM  –  11:30 AM

Join instructor Victor Watson for a beautiful photo walk here at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens photographing plants and flowers with an emphasis on macro photography. During this walk we will work on use of color, close up/macro photography, use of tripods, depth of field, exposure and use of reflectors/diffusers. Don't have a macro lens no problem during the walk you will be exposed to a number of ways to shoot macro without a macro lens.
The gardens offers a wide variety of plants and flowers, including orchids, cactus, and more, year round on the grounds and in their spacious greenhouses. This walk offers both excellent subject matter and an optimal environment in which to photograph— warm, and indoors, but with outdoor lighting! This walk is an excellent chance to fine-tune your skills working with macro–creating effective composition, focus and exposure.
